Regular Dormitory

International students may also choose to live in the regular dormitory where the students and staff speak Korean.
The advantages you will get when you live in the regular dormitory are that you will have a great chance to experience Korean culture and learn Korean faster.
You will be a member of a Korean team, and if you can speak some Korean and are brave enough to learn more Korean, then the regular dormitory will be a great dorm for you.

Handong Global University’s International House(I-House) is a dormitory designed specifically to cultivate students with global minds.

Many students with vastly different backgrounds live together in this small community. There will be activities such as “Culture Nights,” “Wednesday Floor Fellowships,” and “Friday Game or Movie Nights” for socialization between students.
All I-House students are required to speak English in order to encourage open communication in the entire community. Nevertheless, I-House does not mean a place where only foreigners live. Koreans live in the I-House as well, and usually the room will consist of 2 Koreans and 2 foreigners.
